5 tips to Create a Cozy Fall Filled Home are sure to help!

 1- Add Fall Color…

You likely thought of this, but here's a twist... I really like to start with a neutral palette of creamy whites, pale yellows, browns and grays and add deeper orange, red, brown and mustard yellow as we get further into the season.  I love the warmth the colors add as the weather gets cooler. This helps keep my Thanksgiving decor just a little different from my “just moving into Fall decor” without a whole lot more effort on my part; I'm instantly the Fall decor queen!  Take a look at the transition of one spot in our home.  

2- Add Natural Textures and tones…

wreaths, dried grasses and flowers like mums and sunflowers are great ways to do this.  Warm wood textures and tones are also a great addition.

3- Add a Fall sign or two…

You can choose one larger sign, like our welcome Fall sign on the site, as a focal point in your Fall decorating or use smaller seasonal signs as accents around the room.

4- Add pumpkins…

I think this is a must have for Fall decorating!  Add pumpkins, real or faux.  Larger ones are perfect focal points and little ones can be added as accents all over.  You can even add pumpkins to your normal centerpieces and trays as a simple way to add a fall look!

5- Add cozy…

Cozy is essential to Fall.  Adding throws and pillows on sofas, chairs, baskets and benches will make everyone want to cuddle up.  Add candles, particularly in inviting Fall scents to make pumpkin spice season it's fullest.  A yummy fall scent with a cozy atmosphere will make the perfect setting for Fall memories and make everyone, even the neighbors feel at home.
